The Cochrane Cougars is a Recreation Hockey League under Hockey Alberta's Play Hockey Model which ensures families have access to affordable, fun, and safe opportunities to participate in youth hockey with a low to moderate time commitment. We play games indoors against teams surrounding Cochrane - as far North as Rocky Mountain House and as close as Bragg Creek.
Age groups follow the Hockey AB - Play Hockey Model structure:

U15
Division age groups are based on the players age as of December 31.
Example - If your child is 10 years old on December 31 they would register in the U11 division.
